In the spirit of everything Maximum Fun stands for, we’ve arranged the opportunity to give back and do some good for the world, especially for the next generation of creatives.

Story Pirates is an amazing non-profit that encourages children to explore their creativity by staging their stories and teaching them the joy of bringing their dreams to life. But it’s not all about performance—another invaluable service they offer is their Story Love program.

“Story Love is our way of showing students that we have read their stories and care about what they have to say. Each year, Story Pirates helps tens of thousands of children write a complete, original story. Through our Story Love program, we provide positive, personalized feedback for each and every story created in our writing workshops and we welcome the public to these events.”

How do they do it? With personalized, hand-written letters from volunteers. Volunteers like us. So we’re meeting at Peculier Pub to make sure a new generation of writers know that someday the world can be theirs with the stroke of a pen.
